I am Anne-Véronique, the Hearty Chickpea. This blog is my way to document my kitchen creations and share the food I love with you all.
I’m a French Canadian young woman, and I’m proud to be! However, I chose to write this blog in English as a way to practice my second language. This blog is also a way to share my passions for food, health and fitness and to improve my photography skills.
I am also a swimmer, that means I eat a lot (and by a lot, I mean A LOT). With my huge appetite, I always love to try new healthy and nourishing recipes. My goal is to make simple, delicious and flavorful recipes that are not only tasty, but also good for your body! A lot of them are vegetarian/vegan, but I do not follow any diet in particular and I am not vegan. I’m just a little obsessed with veggies and I really appreciate the plant-based diet! :)
All I want is for people to fall in love with delicious healthy cooking, cause life’s too short to eat bad food.
